EXAR Ultra carbon fiber wheelset applies HI-MOD carbon fiber, following the integral and systematic design. The primal materials allow great reduction on weight while retaining outstanding stiffness. This helps you get a smooth start and easier acceleration. *The wheelset weight in the table does not include the weight of quick-release skewer and rim tape; A tolerance of ±3% applies to the weight, and the actual wheelset weight should prevail.

30/32mm Wide Fat Rim – Aerodynamic And Comfortable
The external rim width of DB405 and DB508 is 30mm, that of DB607 is 32mm for front wheel and 30mm for rear wheel. The internal width of all are 23mm. It ensures optimal aerodynamic performance in complex wind conditions, improving stability in crosswinds as well. After installing the 28-32c tire, the contact surface between tire and rim is flat. As a result, It creates a flatter aerodynamic surface and enhances cycling comfort. (*The wheelset rim width is measure at the widest part of the wheel).

Lower Front Wheel and Higher Rear Wheel – Combine High Inertia And Stability
The wheelset combines lower front wheel and higher rear wheel. While the rear wheel maintains high inertia, the front wheel still has excellent controllability. This avails you to ride efficiently and stably.

Full Carbon Fiber Spokes with Scientific Lacing – Contribute Ultra-Stiffness
EXAR Ultra carbon fiber wheelset adopts HI-MOD carbon fiber spokes from VONOA. Each spoke weighs only 2.8g and has better stiffness. Compared with top steel spokes, Ultra’s spoke is 30% lighter and can withstand 30% more tensile force. Lower strength loss of transmission brings higher driving efficiency. Featuring latest patent, we hide the metal accessories on spokes, while making it wider and thinner. Thus, you can get lower wind resistance with smooth and simplified design. The wheelset applies 2:1 balanced lacing pattern, which distributes tension perfectly.

Elaborate Hub Design
The flange diameter has been calculated scientifically in terms of the stiffness of carbon fiber spokes. We reduce the amount of stress concentration point where spoke contacts with hub, thus improving driving stiffness and extending endurance. The contact surface of bearing and body is processed with smooth edges to create precise synergy. The WR size of the rear hub is 18.2mm. This ensures spoke tension of drive side and non-drive side to be similar, achieving excellent lateral stiffness.

Ceramic Bearings, Smooth And Durable
Compared to steel, ceramic is light-weight with low resistance, which can be used to make smoother bearings. A well-made ceramic bearing has lower resistance, thus saving you energy and allowing rapid acceleration.

Flat Engagement Ratchet – Ensure Stable Performance
The EXAR Ultra series features a 36-tooth flat ratchet system, which has greater engagement force with larger surface. EXAR Ultra wheelsets have passed UCI impact tests. After applying an energy of 40 J on the bare carbon rim, the deviation complies with UCI standard. The wheelset is compatible with tubeless tire and clincher tire. It comes with tubeless rim tape and rim plugs. While installing clincher tire, you could use rim plugs to reduce weight. The dynamic balance is exclusively designed for TPU inner tube. You will enjoy a stable cycling at high speed.
